Dermatologist – Venereologist Vasilis Chrysoheris was born in Athens in 1978 and completed his compulsory schooling at the “Costeas-Geitonas” educational institution in 1996.

He then went on to study medicine at Semmelweis University in Hungary, where he obtained his medical degree in 2004.

He specialised in internal medicine at “Agioi Anargyroi” Hospital and completed his internal medicine training in Scotland, specifically at Aberdeen Royal Hospital. He completed his sub-specialisation in Dermatology–Venereology at the Hospital for Skin and Venereal Diseases “Andreas Sygros”.

During his dermatology specialisation, he received a scholarship to train at the University Dermatology Clinic Auschutz in Denver, USA, and also took part in Euroderm Excellence in Rome, representing the “Andreas Sygros” Hospital. He served at the “Rare Diseases” outpatient clinic of Andreas Sygros, where he had the opportunity to manage a wide range of rare dermatological conditions. He participated in the educational seminars of the European Association of Dermato-Oncology (EADO) held in Istanbul and took part in the “Andreas Sygros” phase II clinical trial on invasive basal cell carcinoma.

He is a scientific associate of the Athens Medical Center for Adolescents and Children.

He is a member of the Hellenic Society of Dermatology and Venereology (HSDV) as well as of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV).

He is married and has 2 children.

Completed the Master of Science (MSc) program in Dermoscopy at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2024.
